Terms of Service
Last updated: April 17, 2026. By using TrustLens (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What TrustLens is — and is not
TrustLens generates probabilistic digital-footprint signals from public-data sources and consented inputs. TrustLens is not a consumer reporting agency. Reports may not be used for any “consumer report” purpose as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), including employment, credit, tenancy, or insurance decisions.
2. Acceptable use
You agree you will only search:
- your own identifiers (email, phone, username);
- identifiers of a person who has provided you consent; or
- publicly available information.
You may not use TrustLens to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm any person, to circumvent another service's terms, or for any purpose prohibited by law.
3. No scraping / no impersonation
TrustLens does not scrape logged-in surfaces, bypass authentication, or create fake accounts. If you believe a feature operates otherwise, please report it to hello@trustlensiq.com.
4. Accuracy
All results are probabilistic signals. Confidence scores are indications, not guarantees. TrustLens does not assert facts about any individual. You are solely responsible for any action you take based on a report.
5. Account & payment
You must provide accurate information. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Refunds are granted in good faith within 7 days of a disputed charge.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustLens is provided “as is”. TrustLens will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will notify you by email.
